Depression-induced inactivity can also provide weight gain. If a person undergoes a change in body weight of more than 05% in a month, medical attention is necessary, according to Robert London.

Psychiatrist Forand says, “Pain signals from the body that are usually diverted can instead be amplified.” He says-“People who are depressed also do to have a lot of adverse self-focused attention, So they might be more likely to notify pain sensations & concentrate on them, that can make the perception of pain worse.”
